Background and Rationale

The 17th National Academic Conference for the Academic Year 2026: "Challenges in Education for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" is organized in collaboration with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), professional associations, academic networks, and Southern College of Technology. This event aims to promote the exchange of valuable academic contributions, leading to broad utilization and dissemination among researchers and academics both within and outside the college, as well as to foster extensive academic collaboration networks.
Furthermore, the college aims to raise public awareness and understanding regarding the role of digital technology in enhancing modern, efficient learning processes that respond to future societal changes. Digital technology enables learning to take place anywhere and anytime, providing learners with convenient, rapid, and limit-free access to knowledge. It also supports the development of teaching innovations and research, leading to the elevation of educational quality and the creation of a sustainable future learning society. Therefore, the college is organizing the 17th National Academic Conference to serve as a platform for presenting academic work, offering opportunities for researchers, academics, students, and practitioners from public and private sectors nationwide to exchange experiences. This will lead to the creation of academic collaboration networks, stimulate research and innovation development, and promote public awareness and understanding regarding the use of digital technology and learning processes for the future.

Objectives

To provide a platform for personnel, faculty members, researchers, academics, students, and practitioners from both the public and private sectors to present research, creative works, and innovations; to disseminate contributions that benefit the academic community and the public; and to exchange research knowledge and experiences.
